If the natural macrame elements are bent or crinkled (especially after shipping), carefully run over it with an iron on low-medium heat setting, with a thin tea towel or cloth between the iron and the macrame. Ensure the iron only runs over the macrame fibres to prevent damage to the other materials used in the wall hanging.
